ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF) A child online solicitation sting by the Arlington Police led to eight arrests over two days. The operation focused on men thought they were chatting online with children 13-16 years of age.
The suspects were led to believe they would meet the children on various locations. Another person was arrested on drug charges. The Arlington Police Department worked together with multiple agencies in the operation including the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Officials have said as many as 10 additional suspects are expected to be apprehended in the coming days.
