VIDEO: North Texas Police Agencies Launch Public Awareness Campaign Addressing School Threats

Posted on February 11, 2020

ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF)- North Texas police agencies launch a public awareness campaign addressing the spike of threats made against schools. The “Fake Threat Real Regret” video features Arlington, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, and Mansfield Police Departments, along with the FBI Dallas Field Office and Arlington ISD.

The importance and the goal of this video is to let students know that a threat, real or fake, has serious consequences such as jail time. It also highlights how easy it is for police departments to track down the source of where the threat is made.
