Washington (WBAP/KLIF) – Former Energy Secretary and Texas Governor Rick Perry has a new job with his old company. MCNA Dental announced Monday Perry, who previously served on its board of directors, would return to the company as the vice chairman of its board and as its chief strategy officer.
In a statement, the company says, “Perry will play a leading role in MCNA Dental’s government relations, and will additionally provide strategic vision for the company’s expansion of its national and give insights on health care reform.”
Perry say, “I am excited to rejoin the MCNA team and help to further its mission of providing high quality oral health care for the children of America.” MCNA is a dental benefits administrator that among other things provides managed care organizations for Medicaid, CHIP, and Medicare members.
Perry resigned as Energy Secretary last year just as his dealings with Ukraine were being scrutinized.
