Bernie Sanders Wins Big In Nevada

ASSOCIATED PRESS – WBAP/KLIF – Democratic Party Presidential candidate hopeful Bernie Sanders took a big step toward the party’s nod as it’s choice for it’s candidate to run against President Donald Trump this year.  Sanders picked up about 46% of the vote in Nevada caucuses on Saturday; followed by former Vice President Joe Biden with about 19.6%,  Pete Buttigieg with more than 15% and Elizabeth Warren garnering about 10 % of the vote.

Sanders celebrated the win with a rally in El Paso, followed by another Saturday night rally in San Antonio, and a rally planned for Sunday afternoon in Austin.

Leaving the White House for India on Sunday, President Trump said he believes Sanders is looking like the Democrat Party’s leading candidate.

Super Tuesday will be held March 3rd and voters in Texas will have a say about their choices.
