CNN – A well known Chinese businessman and politician, Jack Ma, says he’ll donate one million face masks and a half million Covid 19 testing kits to the United States. Ma says they are ready to be delivered. He’s previously donated one million masks to Japan, trying to ship another million masks to Iran, and nearly 2 million masks and 100 thousand Covid 19 test kits to Europe.
Ma is sharing plans to donate to Italy and just locked-down Spain as well. China is the world’s largest supplier of face masks. Ma’s announcement on Twitter, ending with a quote made widely known by Benjamin Franklin; “United we stand, divided we fall”.
No word yet from the White House about acceptance of the donations.
