Carrollton Postpones Elections Due to COVID-19

CARROLLTON (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- The city of Carrollton is latest to decide to postpone May elections due to public safety concerns surrounding the Coronavirus.

Elections were originally supposed to take place May 2nd but have now been moved to November 3rd. All records including candidate filings, mail in voter applications, ballot proofs, and printed ballots will be saved.

Current candidates in positions that are up for grabs in this year’s election will continue to perform the duties of their positions until the November election.

This election includes Mayor Falconer seeking re-election against his opponent Zul Mohamed.
