Fort Worth ISD – Monday’s Changes to Student Meal Acquisition

FORT WORTH – WBAP/KLIF – Fort Worth Independent School District officials announce changes to food pickup for students while classes are on pause due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

Starting Monday, parents or guardians of students must offer one form of identification to prove they have the students they say they do.  District spokesman Clint Bond says letters have been sent to student’s families detailing the changes, with the information also available on its website: at https://www.fwisd.org/domain/6657

Acceptable forms of identification include:

Student ID badge; birth certificate, prior student report card; FWISD letter or email listing children enrolled in FWISD; meal application approval letter listing the children enrolled, or a government benefit letter listing the children.

FWISD says the Meals to Go site at Southwest High School will permanently relocate to Woodway elementary School, at 6701 Woodway Drive in Fort Worth.
