Cruz and Cornyn Appointed to President’s Task Force

(WBAP/KLIF) — President Trump has appointed senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn to the country’s task force charged with re-opening the economy.  According to Cornyn businesses will likely have to implement an employee screening system similar to his experience at the White House.

The president’s three-phase plan is aimed at getting Americans back to work. Cornyn believes the economy of Texas and the country are vitally important.  Companies would likely implement COVID-19 testing for employees and the task force may replenish funding for the paycheck protection program. Other ideas include replenishing the paycheck protection program and pushing through more SBA relief loans.
