DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- The Dallas Life Homeless Shelter has been hit hard by COVID-19, now that 17 people staying their tested positive for the virus Friday morning.
“We would have to assume almost everyone has been exposed, and certainly do additional testing if they develop symptoms,” said Dallas County Health and Human Services Director Dr. Phillip Huang.
Multiple DART buses carried all 161 residents to an undisclosed hotel, where they will all remain under quarantine.
The DART buses that were used to transport the residents will be thoroughly cleaned before being used again.
