Alcon Produces PPE’s For DFW-Area Hospitals

(WBAP/KLIF) — One of Fort Worth’s largest companies has entered the battle to produce more PPE’s. Contact lens solution maker Alcon is now producing hand sanitizer for first responders.  The company  employs about 4,000 people in Fort Worth and has altered its production line to manufacture face shields and hand sanitizer.

Ed McGough says the company has already donated 50 liters to local medical centers. Alcon has an additional 760 liters ready to donate to other organizations as needed.

According to the Fort Worth Star Telegram, the company has built about 2,000 face shields for medical professionals.
