(WBAP/KLIF) — Police were involved in a shoot-out on the streets of Dallas, Friday morning. Dallas police were called at around 12:30 a.m. to a report of a robbery with gunfire along St. Augustine dDive south of I-20.
Three black males reportedly robbed a Dallas man during a home invasion and stole his vehicle.
As officers chased the suspects and attempted to pull them over, one of the suspects opened fire on police, striking the patrol car. Officers returned fire and the suspects fled, ditching the vehicle in a nearby apartment complex.
Authorities found the car, but were unable to locate the three unidentified men. None of the officers were injured in the chase.
