TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY (WBAP/KLIF) – Texas Motor Speedway will host several high school graduations in the coming weeks.
TMS President and General Manager Eddie Gossage says they figured out a way with Denton County approval to do it safely with enough spacing so groups are spread out.
“They will receive their diploma going through Victory Lane with proper spacing, their chairs spaced apart,” Gossage said.
He says the various participating school districts will decide how many supporters can show up for an individual student.
“I know some of the larger school districts have already sent out an e-mail to parents telling them it will require a ticket to get the automobile in,” Gossage said.
The 23 Denton County schools will hold there ceremonies between May 18th and May 30th.
