WATCH: Bedford Man Leads the Push to Pardon Joe Exotic

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – A push to pardon former Oklahoma zoo keeper and star of the Netflix series “Tiger King” is about to hit the road.

“Joe Exotic” has formed a team to request a pardon from President Trump to free him from one of the most coronavirus infested prisons in the U-S.

Joe Exotic is being held in the Fort Worth Medical Center where more than 40% of the inmates have tested positive for COVID-19.

“He is absolutely worried about it,” said Exotic’s newly hired Private Investigator, Eric Love of Bedford. “He is innocent and we are going to create awareness. People love Joe.”

Love is leading the charge as the investigator claiming Exotic is innocent in the murder for hire plot that landed him 22 years in federal prison.

A bus tour pushing for the pardon leaves Texas for D.C. next week.
