DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Food trucks will return to Klyde Warren Park in Dallas today.

It’s the first time patrons can enjoy dining al fresco at the popular Uptown destination since it closed due to COVID-19 back in March.

According to the park’s Facebook page, vendors will alternate weeks so that each truck can operate under a safe amount of space.

The weekly rotation will include half of the parks 18 vendors.

Food truck employees will wear masks and gloves and the trucks, park tables and chairs will be frequently sanitized.

The park itself remained open open during the pandemic but food truck operations shut down March 22nd.

Now, North Texans who’ve missed Food Truck Lane can visit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m on weekends.
