FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)-The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating and looking into if any criminal charges need to be made after seeing a photo of a large party on social media. Officer Jimmy Pollozani said officers also responded to multiple loud music complaints at the venue where the gatherings were held, but they were unable to access the venue because it is located within a high fenced area.
He said it was also discovered this gathering occurred on two separate nights (May 15 and May 16).
“We are taking this very seriously and our main goal is to educate these individuals about the dangers of COVID-19 and the importance of social distancing,” said Pollozani.
Pollozani said it was a warehouse-type facility located in the 600 block of North Sylvania Avenue in Fort Worth.
