Addison’s Kaboom Town to be Streamed with Rising Coronavirus Cases

ADDISON (WBAP/KLIF) -Addison’s Kaboom Town is still set for Friday night but the way you watch the show will be a little different.

With a rising number of COVID-19 cases in North Texas, fireworks in this year’s show will be shot off from an undisclosed out of town location. The only way to watch, on your computer or television.

“The show will be streamed on the town of Addison’s YouTube Channel on Friday night,” said Addison Event Coordinator Jasmine Lee. “And Friday night the show will be broadcast on tv.”

Lee said the show will be 30 minutes long but will feature more and larger fireworks than ever before

“We’ve got more shells and bigger fireworks this year,” she said.

The 2020 Watch Party in Addison Circle Park and the Addison Airport Airshow have been canceled.
