Two Frisco ISD Students Test Positive for COVID-19 While Attending Cheer Camp

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Two Liberty High School students who attended a cheer camp last weekend have tested positive for the coronavirus.

According to Frisco ISD, one of the students began feeling sick on the first day of camp, this past Saturday, and was tested later that evening.

The second student had spent time with the first student at a non-school related gathering prior to the camp.

The families of all the students who attended the cheer camp have been notified and those who were potentially exposed were asked to self-quarantine.

When school begins Sept. 3, all Frisco ISD students and staffers will be required to self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms.
