COVID-19 Numbers On Slow Decline in Texas

(WBAP/KLIF) — The Lone Star State saw almost 4,900 new cases of COVID-19, Sunday, while 116 Texans died of the illness.

In addition to the the slowly declining numbers, the total Coronavirus hospitalizations further dropped to just over 7,400. The statewide total of confirmed COVID-19 cases topped 486,000, while more than 8,500 residents have died.

State health officials also reported a 20% positivity rate for testing conducted last week.
