ALLIANCE (WBAP/KLIF)- North Texans have the opportunity to look at over 2,000 jobs at an Alliance Texas virtual job fair event.
Hillwood, Workforce Solutions of Tarrant County and Workforce Solutions of North Texas are joining forces to host a virtual job fair August 12th from 10 am to 2 pm.
Lacey Douglas with Workforce Solutions says with Covid-19 layoffs, many North Texans are looking for stable employment, and these companies are hiring now.
“These are all companies in the Alliance Texas area and they are reporting over 2,000 job openings,” said Douglas. “We already have close to 1,000 people pre-registered and if it’s anything close to our last event, we had about 1,200 pre-registered but on the day of we saw about about 1,900 job seekers,” she said.
Many of the jobs are considered essential and a variety of positions such as warehouse, manufacturing and distribution staff, forklift operators, logistics, administrative and financial service professionals, bank tellers, customer service representatives, and many more, will be available.
