Killeen Police Arrest Nine Men, Including Three Soldiers, in Child Sex Ring Case

KILLEEN (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Killeen Police Department’s Special Victim Unit busted a child prostitution ring involving nine Texas men, including three soldiers.

The arrests were in partnership with the Texas Department of Public Safety Human Trafficking Program.

According to a statement from Killeen Police, two of the men are Fort Hood Soldiers and one is a soldier from Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio.

Investigators said the men allegedly agreed to offer money, drugs and alcohol online with girls they through were aged 15 and 16.

The men were actually chatting with undercover officers.

Seven suspects, including the Fort Hood soldiers, are facing felony child prostitution charges. The others are charged with misdemeanor prostitution.

Police confiscated two guns during the arrests.

The Killeen Police Department’s Public Affairs Officer Ofelia MiraMontez said they want to remind citizens , “If you see something, say something,” and encourage residents to report any suspicious activity involving Human Trafficking to authorities.
