Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) Texas Senator Ted Cruz says he was humbled that President Trump included him on a new list of potential Supreme Court nominees, but he’s not interested in the job. Speaking on Fox News’ Sunday Futures show Cruz said, “I’m grateful the President has that confidence in me, but it’s not the desire of my heart.” He added, “I want to be in the political fight. I want to be fighting to nominate and confirm three, four, five principled constitutionalist justices. I want to stay fighting right where I am in the U.S. Senate.” Cruz wasn’t the only lawmaker on the list. So were two other GOP Senators, Tom Cotton and Josh Hawley. Hawley said he also has no interest in the job and Cotton tweeted it is “time for Roe V. Wade to go.”
