AUSTIN (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- Texas could soon be the home of the popular app TikTok.
After saying he would ban the app in the country starting Saturday, President Trump said he he gave the Oracle and Walmart bid for the video sharing app his blessing.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott soon talked to the president about his interest in housing TikTok headquarters in the lone star state.
Today I talked to @realDonaldTrump about the @tiktok_us deal.
I let him know that if he approves the deal Texas would be the perfect place for the HQ.

Trump agreed with him and soon told reporters that the deal would result in a new company called TikTok Global and that it would likely call Texas its new home.
The President said the location could generate at least 25,000 jobs.
