Mesquite Convention Center & Exhibit Hall to Host Dallas County Polling Center on Election Day

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Mesquite Convention Center & Exhibit Hall Thursday announced that the event venue has been selected by the Dallas County Elections Department to serve as a polling location on Election Day.

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on November 3, 2020, the Mesquite Convention Center & Exhibit Hall will host convenient walk-in and drive-through voting and free parking for Dallas County registered voters.

The facility is located in Mesquite off I-635 at 1700 Rodeo Drive next to the Mesquite Championship Rodeo Arena and the Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas-Mesquite.

Each of the two exhibit halls at the Mesquite Convention Center & Exhibit Hall will feature up to 25 voting booths on Election Day and comply with recommended physical distancing measures.

Clearly marked prompts will guide safe social interactions, and hygiene stations will be available.

Election workers will be required to wear a face covering. Posted signage will recommend voters wear a face covering, and a mask will be available for voters who do not have one.
