New Orleans (WBAP/KLIF) – A federal prisoner scheduled for execution next month for the 1994 kidnapping and brutal murder of a teenage girl in Arlington has lost a federal appeal. Orlando Hall was convicted on multiple charges, and sentenced to death. Since then he has lost two other appeals. On Friday, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans rejected Hall’s claim that he is entitled to a third appeal. Hall was one of five men who kidnapped a 16 year old Arlington girl to get revenge on her two brothers for a botched marijuana deal. The victim was taken to Arkansas, where she was gang-raped, beaten with a shovel, and finally buried alive.
