Congressman Colin Allred Re-Elected in District 32

RICHARDSON (WBAP/KLIF) – A North Texas Congressional District will remain blue after Republicans fought to reclaim it.

Congressional District 32 was once represented by longtime Republican Pete Sessions. But, two years ago the historically red district turned blue when Colin Allred was elected. Republican Genevieve Collins fought to take back the distract, but Allred took the win Tuesday night with 52% of the vote.

“Keep your shoulders back and keep your head up,” Allred told supporters late Tuesday. “Let’s keep going.”

Collins addressed supporters at a watch party in Richardson.

“I am so sincerely grateful to all of you for all of your hard work,” she said.

District 32 includes much of North Dallas and Richardson.
