Bexar County Implements Curfew

(WBAP/KLIF) — San Antonio and Bexar County are imposing a lockdown during certain hours of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The move is intended to limit the spread of the Coronavirus as Texas is experiencing a surge in cases.

Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolf and San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg have implemented a curfew that prohibits residents from gathering outside their homes between the hours of 10 pm and 5 am. The ban does allow residents to be out during those hours if they are seeking services from a business.

Restaurants are also order to close dining rooms during those hours, however, are allowed to serve take-out. the curfew is in effect through Monday morning, November 30th.
