GREENVILE(WBAP/KLIF) – A hunter has killed one of north Texas’ most wanted.
The 160 pound mountain lion according to Texas Parks and Wildlife was legally killed in Hunt County this past week and TPWD believes it is the same lion spotted in Rowlett and Princeton over the last month.
The lions’ meandering journey marks the first time in nearly two decades that a lion was spotted in the DFW metroplex.
Meanwhile, the Hunt County Sheriff’s office believes the recent death of 28-year-old Christopher Allen Whiteley in Hunt County was attributed to mountain lion attack.
