France has partially reopened its borders with Britain following international concern over a rapidly spreading new coronavirus variant, but the slow delivery of coronavirus tests have severely delayed crossings.
Anyone entering France from Britain now requires a negative test to proceed.

Britain has seen soaring infection rates in recent weeks, with London now having the highest rate of people testing positive in the country.
The Office for National Statistics estimated Thursday that 2.1% of the people in the capital had COVID-19 in mid-December.
