A Tense Few Hours at Great Wolf Lodge Christmas Night

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – About 9:05 Friday evening as some Christmas celebrations were winding down, Grapevine Police responded to reports of a man that witnesses said was threatening to “shoot up the place.”

During the incident Grapevine police reported on twitter “our officers are responding to an active threat call at Great Wolf Lodge.” As a result the hotel was locked down as a precaution Christmas night for a few hours, while police looked for the suspect that witnesses had described.

According to police, the search concluded about 2 a.m. Saturday morning, with police saying no shots were fired, no one was injured, and no suspect was found.
