ANGLETON(WBAP/KLIF) – The Texas Speaker of The House is the latest state politician to test positive for COVID-19.
in a Facebook post on Sunday, Dennis Bonnen, said that he tested positive for the coronavirus this weekend. Bonnen’s wife already was battling the virus this week with what he called “difficult but manageable symptoms.”
The Angleton Republican went on to further state that the virus “is no joke in its unpredictability and severity, so please continue to keep your guard up and your loved ones protected. Mask up and social distance and avoid large gatherings.”
Bonnen is not the first Texas politician to test positive for the virus. Texas Agriculture Secretary Sid Miller tested positive earlier this month.
