(WBAP/KLIF) — More than a little holiday cheer was spread over the Christmas break. Dallas County health officials announced that 6,144 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed, Sunday.
The totals cover a three-day span of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, bringing the overall total to almost 167,000. Dallas County also reports 11 additional deaths which brings the pandemic death toll to 1,565,
Statewide, there are nearly 1.5 million positive tests for Coronavirus along with 26,472 fatalities.
