WEATHERFORD (WBAP/KLIF)- Parker County Sheriff’s Office says there is a case of Rabies going around.
Over the past week, two people were bitten by the now euthanized cat in the Whitt area, according to deputies. the adult feral male yellow tabby cat tested positive for rabies and there is concern that the virus has spread to other animals.
Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler is cautioning people to not interact or feed wild animals and to be alert to the signs of rabies which include aggressive behavior, excessive salivating and difficulty breathing.
