(WBAP/KLIF) — Arlington police are involved in a new year’s eve shootout.
Police were called to Arlington Memorial Hospital to investigate the shooting of a woman who suffered non life-threatening injuries at around 7 pm, Thursday.
Officers determined the woman was shot at Las Lomas apartments in Arlington, where an officer was reviewing surveillance footage with two security guards.
That’s when gunfire erupted outside the office. As the officer and armed security guards exited the building to investigate they were fired upon.
One of the security guards was hit, suffering a minor injury. All three returned fire at the suspects, who fled the scene in a vehicle. the suspects are still at large.
