Washington (WBAP/KLIF) – Republican and Democratic lawmakers and others have accused President Trump of inciting the Capitol riot on Wednesday.

Many accuse Trump of angrily firing up his base for months with unsubstantiated claims of election fraud.  According to multiple reports senior members of the Trump administration have discussed invoking the 25th Amendment to remove him from office.

Dozens of court cases challenging the election have been thrown out at the local, state and federal levels for lack of evidence. Bi-partisan lawmakers in several contested battleground states defended their state free and fair elections.

Dallas-based Constitutional lawyer David Coale says the amendment has been invoked the past in medical-related situations, but one clause in the amendment has not.

Coale also says that conditions are ripe for a plausible discussion about removing Trump from office.
