“Organized, Safe, Quick”: Hurst Conference Center Opens as Second Covid-19 Mega Center in Tarrant County

HURST (WBAP/KLIF)- The Hurst Conference Center is open as a second Covid-19 vaccination mega center in Tarrant County. 

It’s available for Tarrant County residents over 65 years old or those over 18 years old with underlying health issues.

Hurst Mayor Henry Wilson says this site will be open through April and will stay open if needed.  He says they plan to vaccinate 2,000 people per day.

“This center was put in place in less than a week and it was done through hard work from city staff of all Northeast Tarrant County and volunteers so citizens in this area will have the access,” he said. 

Wilson said there’s no walk in appointments; you must register on the Tarrant County website. If you qualify, you will have a set date and time to come in.
