Governor Abbott made statements on Thursday encouraging the Texas Legislature to pass a law that would require cities not defund their police forces or else they could lose tax revenue. He also called out Dallas County DA John Creuzot and other DA’s that allow thieves that steal items valued at $750 or less to walk free, saying that it encourages people to steal because they won’t face any consequences for their crimes, and he’s right!
