
NORTH TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Winter weather blanketed the North Texas roads with a sheet of ice early Thursday morning, prompting several COVID-19 vaccination centers to suspend operations for the day for safety reasons.
Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins said operations at Fair Park are closed.
Parkland Hospital announced it closed its sites at Ellis Davis Field House and East Field Community College in Mesquite, those with appointments today can get vaccinated at Parkland Hospital.
Texas Motor Speedway in Denton has canceled operations for today, all appointments have been rescheduled for Friday from noon to 4 p.m.
Tarrant County said it’s vaccination operation centers are open.
JPS Hospital is allowing patients with appointments scheduled for 10 a.m. and later to come in or choose to have a virtual visit using a computer or mobile device.
All JPS community clinics will open at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11. Patients with early appointments will be contacted to reschedule. Those with morning Covid vaccine appointments should come in any time after 10 am and will be accommodated.
