Billy Bob’s Texas No Longer Requiring Masks

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth will no longer require guests to wear a mask.

Terran Flusche with Billy Bob’s said after the announcement from Governor Greg Abbott and Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley they decided to update their policies.

The country music honkytonk will still follow strict cleaning protocols and lower capacity.

“We have absolutely no plans to open 100% capacity. We feel that operating at the capacity that we operate now, there’s plenty of room for social distancing and for people to feel comfortable,” said Flusche.

Flusche said Billy Bob’s will continue to keep other safety protocols in place, such as additional hand sanitizing stations and temperature checks for guests, entertainers and staff.

“We will continue to monitor the federal, state and local guidelines and adjust accordingly in the days and weeks ahead. We greatly appreciate your understanding and support during these times,” Billy Bob’s wrote in a statement.
