Guns, Drugs & Money Pouring Across the Texas Border

(WBAP/KLIF) — Customs and Border Patrol are continuing to find migrants crossing the border, along with drugs that are being smuggled.

The federal government and states along the U-S-Mexico border continue to deal with a surge of migrants and asylum seekers arriving there. Texas is one of the states being impacted by the surge… and Kinney County, Texas Sheriff Brad Coe tells “Fox and Friends” border crossings are up particularly during the early morning hours.

Customs and Border Protection says they encountered about 172,000 migrants in March, up 72-percent from February’s numbers. Some lawmakers warn the surge will only get worse if more isn’t done to address it. The Biden administration is working with Central American countries to find diplomatic solutions.

Vice President Harris is will be meeting with leaders of the Northern Triangle in June to discuss why immigrants are coming to the united States.
