DALLAS COUNTY – WBAP/KLIF – The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office identifies a body recovered from Lago de Claire as the wife and mother of two; missing since last week.
Lashun Massey was reported missing Tuesday; her body recovered Thursday morning. The woman was described as routinely going for a walk, but always returning in time to get her kids ready for school.
Two people tell Irving police they saw a woman who matched Massey’s description leaving the water, standing on a bench, then walking away.
The lake is inside Las Colina’s La Villita community. An earlier sonar search was followed by divers from the Texas Department of Public Safety. Police say they do not – at this point – suspect foul play in Massey’s death.
