Dallas’ Police Chief Has A Plan to Fight Crime

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia will present his 29 page crime fighting plan to the Dallas City Council today. It will say that violent crime is primarily centered on four geographic areas within the city, covered by the department’s southeast, southwest, and south central divisions. The chief’s plan is quite detailed in some areas, but in general it will focus on “hot spot” policing, deterring violent people, and disrupting problem places.
