The community of Buckhead, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, has asked to essentially split off from being under protection from Atlanta and form their own police department amid an increase in crime. Residents are frustrated with Mayor Keisha Bottoms, who they say is ignoring a rise in crime and focusing instead on gender neutral bathrooms, among other issues.
