With the 2020 Olympic games just a month away (the games where delayed due to covid), athletes from across the country came to Portland, Oregon to compete for THEIR place on one of the NATION’S teams.
Gwen Berry, bronze medalist hammer thrower decides that even though she HATES America, she’s willing to join the Nation’s Olympic team. As the National anthem began to play, MS. Berry turned her back & held a shirt over her head stating “activist athlete”.
Rep Dan Crenshaw said it best! “You have to at least love the country”
