Well the Texas Democrats have arrived in Washington D.C. to protest the Texas voting rights bill, their second walkout in just under two months. And just like any fight for voting rights prior, they made sure they had plenty of beer on hand! They again have gone to the nation’s capital to try to get the For The People Act passed, and on Tuesday, President Biden finally delivered a speech on the subject. Biden alleged that an assault on voter’s rights is a 21st century “Jim Crow” and that it is “real, and unrelenting.” But HOW is it actually “Jim Crow 2.0”? What in the bill makes it so?
