After putting a rule in place last week that any member in the Dallas County Commissioners chambers would be required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins had commissioner JJ Koch escorted out of a meeting Tuesday night because he did not put on a mask. Koch believes that Jenkins’s rule, in which Jenkins cited a Texas Supreme Court ruling, does not apply to the commissioners court, and that Jenkins rule could not be applied because of Governor Abbott’s executive order forbidding local officials putting restrictions in place. Koch talks with Chris about all of this and more on NewsTalk 820, WBAP!
