Dallas County Commissioner JJ Koch was escorted out of a meeting Tuesday night with the other commissioners because he refused to wear a face mask. Dallas County judge Clay Jenkins had put a rule in place that anyone that wanted to be in the chambers would be required to wear one, citing a ruling by the Texas Supreme Court. JJ disagrees with the rule, saying that both the Texas Supreme Court ruling is not applicable to the commissioners court, and that Governor Abbott’s executive order supersedes any rule that Jenkins or any other local official would put in place. Koch tells Chris why he believes Jenkins was in the wrong and why he feels the ruling will go in his favor in his lawsuit over this. on NewsTalk 820, WBAP!
