Austin, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton who is under investigation on multiple fronts, has been cleared of wrongdoing in at least one of the cases against him; it seems that Paxton’s own office has cleared him of bribing Austin developer Nate Paul to keep mum on Paxton’s secret mistress.

Allegations of alleged improprieties were part of a whistleblower complaint by Paxton’s former top aides.

In a 374 page report, Paxton’s office found that allegations are baseless, and found that he “committed no crime.”

The formal lawsuit against paxton however remains active.

Paxton has spent the better part of six-year tenure under indictment for securities fraud.
