According to the Collin County district’s COVID-19 dashboard, there are 125 active cases among students and 16 among staff at all campuses as of Tuesday morning.
Smith Elementary has 50 active cases, that’s the most out of all of the other campuses. Princeton High School came in second with 44 cases.
Smith Elementary will reopen Tuesday, September 7th after the campus undergoes a deep cleaning.
The office at Smith Elementary will only be open today from 8-4 for parents who need assistance or want to pick up the instructional packet or materials. The office will be closed the remainder of the week, along with the rest of the campus, for deep cleaning and sanitizing.
