(WBAP/KLIF) — Those protesting Texas’ ban on abortions are turning to corporate America to enter the fight. Opponents of the “Heartbeat Bill” have began airing television and digital ads to target companies that donated money to Republicans.

Plans are in the works to expand the ad campaign to Florida, where a similar abortion proposal has been introduced. The hope is that consumers will pressure companies to join the fight against the most restrictive abortion ban in the nation. Abortion rights supporters in Texas are confronting the law, as well as a conservative-majority U.S. Supreme Court.
