ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF) – Students and staff members are returning to Timberview High School in the Mansfield ISD Tuesday for the first time following a shooting on campus last week.
Superintendent Dr. Kimberley Cantu says there will be extra counselors and additional police officers on campus for as long as needed.
The family of the accused shooter in the incident claims the student was bullied. Cantu says a school safety committee established a few years ago will be re-established.
An 18-year-old student is facing three charges of Aggravated Assault with A Deadly Weapon following a fight and shooting.
